Richard Barron BVSc MRCVS
After a 50 year association with Spinney Lodge Vets, from schoolboy to Student Veterinary Surgeon, Assistant to Partner, and finally Director, Richard has now retired. His smile and words of wisdom, plus his years of clinical knowledge, will be missed but feel he has earned his rest!
Malcolm Adamson BVMS Cert SAO MRCVS
RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Orthopaedics
Malcolm graduated from Glasgow University in 1980 and subsequently achieved the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in Small Animal Orthopaedics and is an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Orthopaedics. He joined Spinney Lodge Vets in 1992 and his special interests are the management of fractures in dogs and cats and cruciate ligament disease in dogs. His time is now dedicated almost exclusively to orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.
Lisa Bond Bvet Med MRCVS
Lisa graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1994 and worked in mixed practice in Yorkshire before joining Spinney Lodge Vets in 1998. She now works at the Wootton Fields branch surgery and has a special interest in dermatology.
Marianne Daw BVM&S MRCVS
Marianne graduated from Edinburgh University in 1996, and returned to her home town of Northampton to join Spinney Lodge Vets in 1999. She enjoys all aspects of companion animal veterinary work and has a particular interest in rabbit health and treatment.
Iain Fletcher Bvet Med MRCVS
Iain graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2006, London, and worked in Oxfordshire before joining Spinney Lodge Vets in 2007. He has a keen interest in Diagnostic Imaging and all aspects of surgery.
Rachel Lord MA VetMB MRCVS
Rachel graduated from Cambridge University in 1999 and started work for Spinney Lodge Vets in 2005, initially as a summer locum, before joining as a part-time member of the team. She has a special interest in medicine cases.
Jessica Woodhouse BVSc MRCVS
Jessica graduated from Bristol University in 2001, and after working in Indonesia, Australia, Norfolk and Newbury, she joined Spinney Lodge Vets in 2008. She enjoys all aspects of general practice.
Elizabeth Nobes MA VetMB MRCVS
Liz graduated from Cambridge University in 2010 and worked for 2 years in practice in Hertfordshire before joining Spinney Lodge Vets in 2013. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology and rabbit medicine, and is currently studying a post graduate certificate, Cert AVP(General Small Animal Surgery).
Susan Atkins BSc DVM MRCVS
Sue graduated from Budapest in 2011 and worked in a small animal practice in Yorkshire before and joining Spinney Lodge Vets in 2013. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and believes everyone should have at least one rescued pet in their lives
Elissa Tennant-Brown MA VetMB MRCVS
Elissa graduated from Cambridge University and returned to Northamptonshire to join Spinney Lodge Vets in 2013. She has a particular interest in small animal surgery and enjoys all aspects of small animal practice.
Rachel Chan Bvet Med MRCVS
Rachel graduated from the Royal Veterinary College and started her career in Norfolk. The call of the East Midlands came and she returned to be near her home turf (Leicester) joining Spinney Lodge Vets in early 2014. She enjoys all aspects of small animal practice, especially surgery.
Pippa Majid MA VetMB MRCVS
Pippa qualified from Magdalene College, Cambridge in 2013 and initially worked in a mixed practice in Northamptonshire before joining Spinney Lodge Vets. She enjoys all aspects of small animal practice and but has a particular interest in small animal medicine and critical care.
Stephanie Malone BVSc MRCVS
"Steph" graduated from Liverpool University and joined Spinney Lodge Vets in 2017. A native of Northampton, she's enjoying home cooked meals and catching up with old friends.
As a cat lover she is particularly enjoying her feline patients but also the variety that working in a general practice brings.
Connor Hawes Bvet Med MRCVS
Connor graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London and joined Spinney Lodge Vets in 2017. Another native of the area, he's is enjoying general practice and developing a keen interest in Internal Medicine.
